  • any joys? – pray that your missionary will experience joy in similar situations
  • any decisions? – pray that your missionary will have wisdom to make good choices in similar situations (note that a good choice for them may be different to the choice you made)

• Spiritual Life (Sunday) – time to read & pray; for spiritual growth, encouragement & fellowship; for integrity, reliability & consistency
• Personal Life (Monday) – family relationships on the field & at home; good friendships with nationals; health & strength; physical & spiritual protection; time for relaxation; childrens’schooling; God’s care on ageing parents at home
• Communication (Tuesday) – progress in language study; adaptation to culture, customs & people; clarity, creativity & relevance in preaching, teaching & discipling
• Relationships (Wednesday) – harmonious relationships with other missionaries, national Christians & local church leaders; good links with sending churches & prayer supporters
• Evangelism (Thursday) – boldness, godliness, sensitivity & Spirit’s guidaing of their ministry; for hungry hearts & the opening of spiritually blind eyes; for the establishment of Christ’s church; for developing national missionary movements
• Discipling (Friday) – patience & empathy; encouragement of new believers; identifying, equipping & training those with spiritual gifts
• The Country (Saturday) – for those in authority; political situation; religious freedom; difficult physical circumstances (eg: famine, war etc)
