To all our faithful supporters and pray-ers. Thank you so much for your continued partnership
- Mike’s arm is healing well and he is now out of the cast and sling, driving again, and generally much more able to do things with his right arm
- Peer education program commenced last Monday with 30 youth – pray as they continue to learn about Christian lifestyle for another week, HIV-AIDS and making godly decisions and choices – Kondwani and the other facilitators have been very pleased with their participation – pray as they think through Biblically some tricky cultural issues surrounding sexual behaviour
- Continue to pray for good functioning of all our vehicles including the project vehicles and those of other missionaries – last week one vehicle wasn’t ready for a new missionary couple who had to borrow our short termers vehicle, who had to borrow the orphan care vehicle, and then our orphan care co-ordinator had to borrow the home based care vehicle – both the orphan care vehicle and home based care vehicle developed minor problems which necessitated trips to the mechanic to resolve
- Pray for Thomas, our home based care co-ordinator, travelling this week with 4 of our short termers to Chididi and then the following week to Sani
- The boys are on holidays and looking forward to the visit of another missionary family, the Youngs, to Blantyre this coming week – pray for Josh who has said goodbye to 2 of his closest school friends these past 2 weeks, who have returned to Australia and the UK respectively
- Pray for final preparations for our Spiritual Life Conference commencing on 26th July
- Give thanks for the opening of our 2nd orphan care location at the end of last month
- Pray for Mike traveling to Sankhulani this week for 2 days, and for the family there whose husband/father left them when he discovered his wife was sick with HIV/AIDS – the program will assist them with roofing plastic, thatching and bamboo poles to re-roof their small house, and some clothing for the 4 children – pray that they will know the love of God in the midst of their difficulties
In Him
